Syringe only technology The syringe only concept of the PAL series of liquid handlers combines the manual sample injection procedure with the precision and throughput of a robotic liquid handling system. Samples are aspirated with a conventional liquid syringe and are transferred directly into the sample loop. No error prone teflon tubing or transfer lines are involved during the sample loading process. |

Robust Cleaning Protocols
Before and after each injection the syringe and syringeneedle (needle inside and outside) are rinsed in a dedicated Fast Wash Station containing two different cleaning solvents. This unique design virtually eliminates sample carryover and adsorption problems. |

Reconsitute Samples From Dry Plates
Using the Option PAL Diluter Module
The HTC's Diluter Module allows straightforward sample dilution or titration. Additionally, this useful accessory may be couple with a One-Minute NMR software routine to allow you to reconsitute samples in dry plates. A programmed aliquot of solvent is dispensed into the selected well. The well contents are then picked up in the needle and pushed back out several times to accomplish mixing of the solute in the well solvent to enhance dissolution. |
