Most current diagnostic tests are indirect.  Dynamic Focusing, by contrast, can accumulate peptides, neurotransmitters, or other biomarkers directly from complex biological fluids..  The technique has sufficient resolution to isolate desired analytes even in the presence of many similar molecules.  It can accumulate low-abundance biomarkers and divert unwanted interferences to waste.  A miniaturized DFGF could be very fast, completing a specific assay in under a minute.

Researchers need expression patterns under different conditions.  Dynamic focusing can accumulate several biomarkers to create the definitive pattern needed to identify a disease state.  Rate studies can be peformed using our time profiling software.
  Protein Expression
  DFGF is sufficiently fast and specific to isolate all of the proteins in a sample to map protein expression over time.  Separated analytes can be routed to a high resolution time-of-flight mass spectrometer for identification and quantitation.
