"One-Minute NMR Live Deminar" The third One-Minute NMR seminar began with a description of the Protasis NMR automation system at the Genomics Institute that serves a department of medicinal chemists in structure confirmation (Bernhard Geierstanger has now published this work in Analytical Chemistry). This was followed by another seminar describing more of Mark O'Neil Johnson's leading work in Natural Products discovery using MicroFlow NMR Lorn Clancey went over the basics of the Protasis product line to half of the overflow crowd while the othe half viewed Bob Albrecht's live demo of the One-Minute NMR system in operation. Protasis /MRM, the exclusive
manufacturer and distributor of the capillary flow NMR probe and
HT-NMR automation platform requests your attendence at a seminar
and demonstration on June 14,
2005 from 1:00pm to
3:30pm at
The Genomics Institute of the
Novartis Research Foundation.
This an
opportunity to see how a single 400 MHz Bruker Ultrashield
system has produced reliable results for thousands of samples,
eclipsing the throughput of several other systems combined. The
MRM CapNMR probe and the Protasis One-Minute NMR automation
system has been used for a year at GNF to easily and
inexpensively acquire NMR data for thousands of samples in
384-well plates, and is running many other Varian and Bruker
sites.
Space is limited, so register now for the event at: http://protasis.com/seminar/June14/ .

Presentations will be given
by:
Bernhard Geierstanger, Ph.D., Group
Leader, Protein Sciences at The Genomics Institute of the
Novartis Research Foundation, "Routine
Chemical Analysis Using An Automated Micro-coil Flow NMR System
and Only Five Microliter of Sample"
Mark O' Neil-Johnson, Ph.D. Senior Director, Scientific Development at Sequoia Sciences, Inc., "Advanced Analytical Technology as Applied to Natural Products for Drug Discovery"
Lorn Clancey, Director of Sales,
Protasis, "MicroFlow NMR: Capabilities and Applications of
the CapNMR Approach"
Bob Albrecht, Director of
Automation, Protasis, "High Throughput Open Access One
Minute NMR"
One Minute NMR will be
demonstrated. This system includes the CTC/LEAP Liquid Handler,
Discovery Tower with integrated solvent management, One Minute
NMR Open Access data management software , and our CapNMR probe
- all coupled to a functioning NMR spectrometer. Results will be
presented by current users of this technology. If you are
interested in attending please register at
